Gordon’s work as an artist is about our reconnection with the natural world. Concerned that we are becoming more and more alienated from the real world his practice is about is about highlighting the environments around us. He immerses himself within landscapes, becoming attuned to all the minutiae and nuances, becoming part of them. Gordon presents these experiences and explorations through artworks and installations.

Gordon”s work changed when in 2009 he walked into an ancient wood in Brittany. The trees gifted him the ability to communicate with them. They are revealing knowledge from our past which will help us move forward. Through his artworks he is revealing and interpreting the information from the trees which will help us reconnect with the natural world.
