Who we are

Who we are?
We are a group of creative practitioners, living and/or working within the inspirational beauty of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known as the Blackdown Hills. 

What do we do?
BHaam exists to promote a network of creative practitioners from all disciplines to encourage collaborative working as well as keep everyone informed of opportunities, training, events and funding possibilities.

Why we exist?
“To stimulate, support and celebrate the creative arts in the Blackdown Hills”

  1. To raise the profile of creative practitioners in the area
  2. To stimulate arts activities in the community creating innovative, progressive, creative work
  3. To promote & support members
  4. To facilitate networking amongst arts practitioners from different disciplines
  5. To seek out sources of funding
  6. To progressively involve young people

Why should I join?
As a member you can be included/ have your work promoted via the BHaam website, be involved in meetings and collaborative events (see ‘past events’/ ‘whats on’ for details), receive regular updates and be first to hear about funding opportunities through the e-mail network.

How to Join?
Simply click here to download  & complete the attached ‘Membership Form' together with a cheque for £18 payable to BHaam (Blackdown Hills Artists and Makers) and forward to the contact address below.

For Young People under the age of 21 years please click here to download the ‘Young Persons Membership Form' complete and forward to the contact address below.
